A Fun Introduction

"What's this?" you ask. "It appears to be a journal, but there's something different about it . . . ."

"It's a writing journal," I supply, helpfully.

"You mean a place to store your writing?"

"Not exactly. It's for other things, too. It's for anything to do with writing and maybe someday art."

"Can I friend you?"

"Of course you can. You won't be able to read much otherwise."

"And what about comments?"

"I am quite fond of them. In fact, your comments are what makes our world go round."

"Really?"

"No, not really. But they do make me very happy, and sometimes even make my day."

"You're easy to please, aren't you?"

"Very."

More About the Girl

I'm a twenty-year old college student who, in writing as in life, tends to toggle between light and humerous and dark and gritty.

I like writing about anything and everything. Okay, that's a lie. There are some things I'm much better at writing and, like most people trained to always do their best, I tend to stick to those.

That doesn't mean I don't ever stray, though. I like to try new things. And if you offer me a challenge, I will probably take it. In fact, I almost certainly will.

So don't just sit there and watch me make a fool of myself. Egg me on or something. It's fun. Trust me.

Some Things You Should Know

Ratings

M is the only rating I have and it spans the spectrum from graphic sex to graphic violence to things that might offend. With each M there will be a word or two explaining why it has its rating. After that, it's up to you whether or not you read.

Keep in mind, too, that beyond M, there is nothing. I will not give any sort of rating to anything I consider more tame than M, so please proceed at your own risk. What I find unworthy of a rating might be worth a million to you.

Book About Writing

When I'm writing feverishly, I like to read books on writing. Here are a few I recommend:

Writing Down the Bones by Natalie Goldberg
Writing Alone and With Others by Pat Schneider
For Writers Only by Sophy Burham
